These terms apply to your use of SheepKit (the "service"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
The service is provided as is
SheepKit is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability or accuracy. It may be slow, unavailable, or contain errors.
Price
SheepKit is currently free. If we introduce paid plans, we'll say so before anything is charged, and paying will always be your choice; paid plans may come with additional terms.
No guarantee of availability or data retention
- The service may be interrupted, changed, or discontinued at any time, with or without notice.
- Data you store may be lost or permanently deleted, including through failures, mistakes, or the service shutting down. Keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose.
- There is no service level agreement, support commitment, or backup guarantee.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of SheepKit is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim (zero while the service is free). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your account and content
- You're responsible for your account, keeping your sign-in details safe, and everything done under it.
- You keep ownership of what you put in. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you and your team.
- Don't use the service for anything unlawful, to store others' personal data without a lawful basis, to attack or overload it, or to access data that isn't yours.
- Team owners control their team's data, including who can see it and deleting it.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use the service means you accept the changes. See also the Privacy Policy.
